Production Team Lead

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead to join our manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe production of goods. This position will also play a critical role in coordinating team efforts, meetings production goals, and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and productivity.

Duties

• Lead the production team during shifts to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time
• Oversee production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and output targets
• Guides teammates to successfully produce a quality product by enforcing quality assurance procedures, performing inspections, and collaborating with management to resolve quality issues quickly
• Troubleshoot and repair downed equipment to restore full operational status
• Offer expertise and share tribal knowledge on part processes and techniques to colleagues
• Help develop work instructions and ensure employees are properly trained to follow procedures and meet quality and time standards
• Ensure staff are working efficiently, equipped with the necessary materials and tools, and following work instructions
• Inform managers if drawings or work instructions need to be updated.
• Assist with creating new customer samples
• Serve as the liaison between production staff and management
• Suggest and implement improvements in production methods, equipment, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 2+ years of textiles experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a level sufficient to complete job-related documentation and instructions.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Leadership ability with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and applications
• A team mentality and helps create a positive work environment
• High attention to detail with a keen eye for quality

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
