Production Worker

Summary

A division of Laacke & Joys, LJ Design & Manufacturing is a manufacturer of high-quality custom sewn products for industrial & medical applications. Due to tremendous growth, our team is currently seeking a Production Handworker to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic handwork such as cutting, trimming, gluing, fastening, or material preparation
• Assist with assembly or finishing of products
• Handle and move materials or components as needed
• Inspect work for basic quality and report defects or issues
• Follow standardized work instructions and supervisor direction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools
• Support production team with general tasks to maintain workflow

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred but not required
• Ability to use basic hand tools and follow instructions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand work instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
