Canadian Independent Stationers Picks Up Concept Seating Product

Waukesha, Wis. – Business leaders have a new choice in ergonomically correct seating now that Concept Seating’s product line is at their fingertips.

Canadian Independent Stationers (CIS), a buying group for Canadian independent office furniture dealers, has chosen to pick up Waukesha, Wis. based Concept Seating’s innovative line of 24/7 intensive use chairs.

“This is a great opportunity for us to expand our market,” says Concept Seating President Joel Vento. “CIS is a very reputable organization and we are excited that they have chosen our product to offer their members. I’m confident CIS members will also recognize the value in our product.”

“We chose Concept Seating because they have products that are unique to the 24 hour/heavy duty seating market,” says Mark Weiler, Senior Product Manager at CIS. “The chairs offer higher specifications than standard office seating. This allows our dealers to offer a complete range of seating alternatives.”

Established in 1991, Concept Seating recognized the back problems from which police officers suffered due to long periods of time sitting in squad cars. It set out to relieve those problems by designing and manufacturing innovative vehicle seats. In 1995, the company expanded its product line by developing 24/7 Intensive Use chairs and now serves call centers, public safety companies and more. Concept Seating is committed to creating seating that increases employee morale and productivity while decreasing time away from the job. The company recently more than tripled its space by moving to a new location in December of 2006.
